Our service delivery model focuses on providing an individualised and comprehensive approach to well-being and fitness. The core of this service consists of one-to-one sessions, taking place at Pansanity Fitness at the North London Business Park, N11 1GN. Each session is scheduled to last approximately 90 minutes and is structured to cater to the specific needs and goals of the participant.

We have also developed a bespoke app that enables continuous guidance and support. The app provides personalised workout plans, dietary guidelines, and tracking features, encouraging participants to stay engaged and informed in their health journey.

Our dedicated nutritionists play a vital role in this journey, offering expert advice and tailored meal plans that align with individual dietary needs and preferences. They work hand-in-hand with our Healthily Living Advisors, a team of professionals committed to fostering positive lifestyle changes.

Additionally, all referred participants will receive free access to our gym facilities in Barnet for 12 months. This not only enhances the convenience and continuity of their fitness routines but also contributes to significant cost savings for parents.

Nutrition is Key:

This service is run by our Head Nutritionist, George Fereos:

Georges role in sessions with children and young people is to provide guidance and education on maintaining a healthy and balanced diet to support their growth and overall well-being. These sessions typically involve several key components:

1. Assessment and Goal Setting: The nutritionist begins by assessing the child or young person's current eating habits, lifestyle, and any specific health concerns they may have. This assessment helps the nutritionist understand the individual's unique needs and challenges. Based on this information, they collaboratively set realistic and achievable nutritional goals.

2. Dietary Recommendations: The nutritionist creates a personalized meal plan tailored to the child or young person's specific requirements and preferences. They emphasise the importance of consuming a variety of nutrient-rich foods, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. They may also discuss portion sizes and the importance of balanced meals.

3. Education on Nutrition: During the sessions, the nutritionist educates the child or young person on the fundamentals of nutrition. This includes explaining the roles of various nutrients in the body, the importance of hydration, and how to read food labels to make informed choices. They may also address misconceptions and myths related to diet and nutrition.

4. Addressing Picky Eating or Food Challenges: For children who are picky eaters or have specific dietary restrictions, the nutritionist works with them and their parents to find suitable alternatives that still meet their nutritional needs. They might offer tips and strategies to expand food choices and encourage a more diverse diet.

5. Behavioral and Lifestyle Changes: The nutritionist may discuss the relationship between food and emotions or stress and help the child or young person develop healthier eating habits. They may also address the impact of screen time, physical activity, and sleep on nutrition and overall health.

6. Monitoring Progress: Throughout the sessions, the nutritionist tracks the child's progress towards their nutritional goals and makes any necessary adjustments to the meal plan. Regular follow-ups help ensure the child or young person stays on track and remains motivated.

7. Family Involvement: In the case of children, the nutritionist often involves parents or caregivers in the process. They provide guidance to parents on creating a healthy eating environment at home, promoting positive eating behaviors, and being supportive of the child's nutritional journey.

8. Addressing Special Dietary Needs: For children or young people with specific medical conditions or allergies, the nutritionist may devise specialised meal plans to accommodate their needs, working in conjunction with other healthcare professionals when necessary.

Overall, our nutritionist's goal is to empower children and young people to make healthy food choices, develop positive relationships with food, and establish habits that will contribute to their long-term health and well-being.
